We love this bar and come back every year on our annual river boat trip. The owner is great and the food is good.
Rode here on a Sunday morning arriving just in time for lunch. I had a patty melt and a miller lite. The melt was very good and the fries were crisp and hot. This place is a good place to get a burger and a cold beer. People expecting more than that are always going to be disappointed. If you are riding through and are looking for simple and friendly this place has it. Fine dining it is not, but they never seemed to me to claim to be.
We stopped here for a dinner with the kids after a long day on the water and it was a great end to the day. A fine place to stop for typical bar food and cold beer. Good BBQ pork sandwiches on fresh buns and smokey ribs. Plus, very reasonable prices on kids meals.
